Angela Tatavak, MPAS, PA-C
Angela Tatavak Husted, MPAS, PA-C, was born in Summit, NJ, but has called Houston home since 1986. Angela completed her undergrad at the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor in Business Administration in Finance in 1998. Seven years ago, Angela decided to pursue her passion for medicine by taking the prerequisites to begin a second career as a Physician Assistant. She received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in August of 2018.
She began her career at Bellaire Dermatology Associates in November of 2018 where she works in the areas of clinical research and medical dermatology. Angela is a part of the phlebology team which treats varicose veins and venous insufficiency. One of her specialties is customizing treatment plans including procedures such as Endothermal Radiofrequency Ablation, Ultrasound Guided Foam Sclerotherapy and Varithena®. She works closely with Dr. Craig Teller upon completion of medical treatment if patients request cosmetic sclerotherapy to complete their venous treatment.
She works to continuously maintain a knowledge base of the latest advances within the industry by attending conferences, through educational meetings, seminars and by obtaining new certifications.
Angela is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, and is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants, the Texas Association of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Angela has four children with her husband DJ, two rescue dogs Bella and Sergeant. She resides in the Copperfield area of Houston. In her spare time, Angela enjoys spending time with her family and friends, volunteering, watching her kids play soccer, lacrosse and football, cooking, and refinishing furniture.
