TheraClear (Acleara) Acne Treatment

Our Acleara acne treatment combines a vacuum and broadband light to cleanse pores, destroy acne bacteria, reduce sebum production that causes acne, and lighten redness. After a series of 6 treatments, acne lesions flatten and disappear. There is no downtime with the Acleara treatment.

Frax 1540 Laser

Our Frax 1540 laser is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, acne and surgical scars, sun spots, melasma and stretch marks without significant downtime.

INFINI combines radiofrequency technology with microneedling to treat elasticity, wrinkles and acne scars. INFINI encourages collagen growth and tissue tightening as well. How does INFINI work? INFINI uses a panel of small gold-plated microneedles to deliver radiofrequency energy into the skin where it tightens the collagen and stimulates more collagen production. Does INFINI hurt? To help ease any discomfort or pain during the procedure, we apply a topical numbing prior to each treatment. Most patients report a mild discomfort similar to a sting. Is there downtime? There is minimal downtime with the INFINI procedure. There may be mild pinpoint bleeding and typically the skin is red and can be swollen for about 24 hours. Patients usually resume their normal lifestyle the next day.

Intense Pulse Light (IPL) Photofacial

Intense Pulse Light (IPL) Photofacial An IPL Photofacial is a gentle, non-invasive laser that improves the appearance of aged skin and removes sun spots, most benign brown pigments, redness caused by broken capillaries, and rosacea. How does it work and does it hurt? The laser produces a broad spectrum of light that is transmitted with the IPL hand piece that glides over the skin. The light penetrates the skin and is absorbed by blood or melanin. The body then naturally breaks down and removes the injured tissue (brown or red spots), evening out the skin tone and texture. Once the light pulses your skin, you feel a stinging sensation. To help with the sting, we apply a topical numbing agent prior to treatment. How many treatments are needed? Depending on the severity of your skin, most patient’s need about five treatments, however, overtime, you will gradually see improvement. Is there downtime? There is very little downtime after treatment. Patients must avoid being out in the sun for 2 weeks after treatment and it is very important to wear sunscreen. The treated area may be red after your treatment but usually does not last more than a few hours.

KTP (Aura) Laser

The KTP laser utilizes energy to eliminate facial spider veins, often in one treatment with minimal to no downtime.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal uses a concentrated beam of light (laser) to remove unwanted hair. The laser distributes a light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the hair follicles and stops future hair growth. Most patients need 6 laser hair treatments to see desired results, although most patients will start to notice less hair growth after just one treatment.

MixTo Fractional CO2 Laser

MixTo is a Carbon Dioxide facial resurfacing laser delivering uniform tissue ablation to the dermis causing immediate contraction and tissue tightening. A secondary effect is the production of new collagen over the next 6-12 weeks. We can treat the face, chest, neck, arms and hands with the MixTo laser. Patients can expect the following from a MixTo treatment.

  • Immediate skin tightening
  • Minimal discomfort with topical anesthetic
  • Minimal downtime (5 days)
  • Softening of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Removal of age and sun spots
  • New collagen production for up to one year following treatment

V-Beam Laser

The V-Beam laser utilizes energy to eliminate matted or lacy looking spider veins, vascular birthmarks and facial redness caused by rosacea. The procedure requires little downtime and no bruising.
