Dr. Ali Dana

Dr. Ali Dana is originally from Long Island, New York, received her combined medical degree and doctorate in molecular genetics (M.D./Ph.D.) from the Indiana University School of Medicine and the University of Notre Dame in 2006. After medical school, she finished an internal medicine internship at Greater Baltimore Medical Center and then completed her Dermatology residency at Johns Hopkins University, becoming board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology in 2010. Following residency, she held a joint position with Columbia University Department of Dermatology and the James J. Peters Bronx Veterans Affairs Medical Center in New York City, which affording her the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population.
Dr. Dana has dedicated her career to training the next generation of dermatologists and has spent over a decade teaching residents and physicians in training. In addition to being involved in basic science and clinical research, she has authored articles published in national journals and has lectured at national conferences. Her professional interests include general medical dermatology, including skin cancer, psoriasis, and eczema.   
When not in the office, she loves globetrotting and has visited more than eighty countries. She also designings gemstone and beaded jewelry and enjoys exploring the dining scene with her husband.
