Bellaire Dermatology is an independent physician-owned and operated dermatology practice with a 29-year history of providing cutting-edge, patient-centered dermatologic care in Houston. Located in Bellaire, less than four miles from the Texas Medical Center and minutes from the Galleria, our practice is a comprehensive center for medical, surgical, cosmetic, aesthetic, and clinical research dermatology.
Medical dermatology is the foundation of our practice, with a strong emphasis on advanced diagnostics, evidence-based therapeutics, and personalized patient care. Our nationally recognized Cosmetic Center provides a full range of injectables, aesthetic treatments, lasers, and devices, while our surgical program includes an on-site Mohs surgeon and dedicated Mohs surgery center.
Our Clinical Research Center conducts comprehensive medical and cosmetic dermatology studies and has participated in pivotal clinical research contributing to FDA approvals of dermatologic medications and devices. The Opportunity
Bellaire Dermatology is seeking a BC/BE Dermatologist to join our established team.
We are looking for someone who is hardworking, positive, patient-centered and wants to become an independent part of a collaborative practice. We welcome both graduating dermatology residents and experienced dermatologists.
You will become part of an established practice with an excellent reputation, strong referral base, enviable patient population, and excellent payor mix. Our physicians have diverse interests spanning medical, surgical, cosmetic, and research dermatology, creating an environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dermatologic care and the ability to develop your practice around your interest in medical, surgical, cosmetic dermatology, and clinical research to pediatric and adult patients.
- Conduct patient consultations, examinations, diagnoses, and follow-up care • Diagnose and treat a broad range of acute and chronic dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, hair disorders, nail disorders, and other common and complex conditions
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Perform dermatologic procedures, including minor surgical procedures and laser treatments
- Provide injectable and aesthetic treatments, laser procedures, and other cosmetic therapies
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prevention, and skin health • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, and support staff • Stay current with advances in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology • Participate in quality improvement, clinical research, and practice growth initiatives

Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in Dermatology
- Active Texas medical license
- Strong clinical expertise in general dermatology and the management of acute and chronic skin, hair, and nail disorders
- Interest or experience in cosmetic dermatology, including injectables, lasers, and aesthetic treatments
- Commitment to evidence-based, high-quality patient care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Personable, compassionate, and patient-centered approach
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment
- Collaborative approach to working with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and support staff
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Prior outpatient dermatology experience or fellowship training is beneficial but not required
