Dermatopathology

We are proud to have an in-house Dermatopathologist and full lab here at Bellaire Dermatology. Dr. Howard Gerber, is board certified in dermatology and dermatopathology.

Dr. Gerber has practiced in the field of dermatopathology for more than fifteen years and provides consultative services for various medical groups in the Houston area.

Our goal of expedited services and results ensures excellent patient care and timely treatment. An early diagnosis of skin cancer has led to final treatment within twenty-four hours on occasion.

Complex cases are reviewed by both the treating dermatologist and the dermatopathologist, utilizing the complimentary skills and training of both physicians.
