How to Use
Directions for use:
- Remove gel sheet from package and, if necessary, cut to fit. Sheet should extend at least 1/2 inch (1cm) beyond the area being treated.
- Ensure area is clean and dry, as well as free from creams, lotions, ointments and powders.
- Peel off the backing and apply over scar with adhesive side down.
- Wear daily for 10-16 hours. remove once daily to allow site to be washed and dried.
- For best results use daily for 3 months on new scars.
- Wash at least every 5 days or if the gel sheet becomes dirty or loses adhesiveness, wash gently with water and mild soap. Allow to air dry before reapplying.
- Use clear storage tray included in package to store the gel sheet when not in use.
- Silagen should be replaced when it deteriorates, disintegrates, or will not stick. Each sheet should last 3 to 4 weeks before needing to be replaced.
